Climate Neutral Group (CNG) wants to accelerate the transition to a net-zero carbon economy and is now a European market leader in the field of carbon foot printing, life cycle analysis (LCA), emission reduction and carbon offsetting.
On the way to CNG’s new Certification Program
Several years ago, we have launched our certification program (Klimaatneutraal Gegarandeerd), in order to help organizations to become ‘climate neutral’ and/or to deliver products or services that are ‘climate neutral’. Triggered by our clients’ needs today, the current ‘climate debate’ and the expected upcoming (regulatory) changes for the voluntary carbon market, but also because of our own internal drive for professionalism, CNG had decided to further professionalise its certification program.
We are excited to announce that our revised program has been launched on the 1st of September, 2020, and will become mandatory from the 1st of January, 2021, consisting of the following program documents:
The Climate Neutral Standard (vs 1.0), with several annexes also available in Excel:
The Trademark and Claims Policy (vs 1.0)
The Assurance Protocol (vs 1.0)
Please find below a summary of the entire development trajectory:
